It's a separate, purpose-built app from your own bookkeeping dashboard — different login model on purpose — accessed through a secure one-time link sent with the invoice or estimate itself. Your client clicks, sees exactly what they need, and can pay on the spot.

Clients get in through a one-time magic link (sent via email with their invoice or estimate), exchanged automatically for portal access. The link is single-use — reusing an old email doesn't grant standing access, so there's no shared or forgotten password sitting around as a liability.

Clients see their current balance overview, not just a folder of PDFs — the same running total your books already reflect.
Invoices they can actually act on
Full invoice list and detail view, PDF download on demand, and a Pay Now button on every open invoice — payment happens in the portal, not through a "please call us" dead end.
Estimates they can accept or decline online
